There is no account to create. We do not collect personal information, and the locations you save stay on your device.
You never sign up for anything. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information directly.
Some information may be collected on its own, to keep the service running and to show us how the app is being used:
All of it is collected in aggregate and cannot be used to identify you personally. We never collect names, email addresses, or account credentials.
The cities you save, along with your display and weather preferences, live in browser localStorage or the native app's local storage. So do the coordinates each city resolves to and its last weather reading, held for an hour so the app is not re-asking on every open. None of it is sent anywhere. We cannot read it, and neither can any third party.
Search for a city the built-in offline database doesn't have and the app asks OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding service instead. That request carries the city name you typed and nothing else. What happens on their end is covered by OpenStreetMap's privacy policy.
Weather adds two more. A saved city is looked up once to get a latitude and longitude, through Nominatim again, falling back to Open-Meteo's geocoding API when Nominatim rate-limits. Those coordinates then go to Open-Meteo for the current conditions, at most once an hour, batched into a single request covering every city that needs refreshing. Open-Meteo wants no API key and no account, so what leaves your device is a list of numbers with nothing attached to them. Their terms and privacy statement cover their end.
Those coordinates belong to the city, not to you. They come out of a name lookup, never from your device's GPS. The app does not use the geolocation API and will never ask you for location permission. Switching weather off in Settings stops both requests. No personal identifiers go out with any of them.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. The automatic information described above is anonymous and cannot identify any individual, children included. The app is safe at any age.
